The Board

What is The Board?

The Board is a player advocacy group consisting of players nominated by the Rogue Company community to provide continuous feedback to the development team at First Watch Games. The Board brings constructive feedback from the community, represents the community’s interests across all demographics and platforms, and acts as a focus group for future initiatives.

What Are Members of the Board Expected To Do?

Each member on The Board will be expected to participate in:

  • Regular communications with the player community and the game’s development team,

  • Regular remote council meetings to discuss community feedback and game development, and

  • Scheduled remote ‘Summit Sessions’ where council members will provide focused feedback on long term plans for several different aspects of Rogue Company and its development.

Benefits of Membership

All council members of The Board will receive the following:

  1. Exclusive in-game Avatar and Title

  2. A tag on the official game Discord indicating council position

Application Process

Applications for the 2022 term will open on July 21st, 2022 and close on July 28th.

Applicant Requirements

Applicants must:

  • be at least 18 years of age (or at least the legal age of majority in applicant’s jurisdiction of residence if such age is greater than 18),

  • be active in the game for at least the last six months

  • have the ability to communicate in conversational English (written and oral),

  • be in compliance with, and have no prior violations of, all Hi-Rez policies, terms, and conditions which apply to applicant, including without limitation the EULA and TOS (collectively, the “Hi-Rez Documentation”).

Applicant Requirements

Applicants must not be:

  • a current or former employee or otherwise currently contracted by Hi-Rez Studios or any of its affiliates,

  • anyone who has been banned from a Hi-Rez game or received any other form of disciplinary action from Hi-Rez within the last six months

  • anyone who is currently a member of the Rogue Company Content Creator program

Applications are reviewed on a case-by-case basis and meeting the foregoing requirements is not a guarantee for selection as a council member. As an initial matter, applications that contain obscene, offensive, vulgar, or discriminatory material will be removed. We reserve the right to disqualify applications, including, without limitation, applications that (a) are incomplete or unclear; (b) violate any applicable laws, including without limitation, infringement of intellectual property; (c) contain fraudulent, untrue, or misleading information; or (d) are otherwise detrimental or damaging to Hi-Rez Studios and its affiliates. We reserve the right to disqualify applications that do not comply with these rules.

Term Length

The 2022 Board will sit for a term of 12 months, from August 2022 to August 2023

Members of the council may apply for successive elections and there is no limit to the number of times they may be elected. In cases of Code of Conduct breaches or other Player Council Participation Agreement violations, members of the council may be dismissed.

Code of Conduct

As representatives of the community, members of the council are expected to be active, engaging, and respectful. This includes without limitation abiding by the following requirements:

  • Members of the council are expected to engage with the game’s community, First Watch, and other council members in a professional, respectful and constructive manner.

  • Members of the council must comply with their Player Council Participation Agreement at all times and keep ongoing discussion with Titan Forge private unless explicitly cleared to do so by Titan Forge Games in advance.

  • Members of the council must comply with Hi-Rez Documentation at all times.

  • Members of the council are expected to maintain a reasonable level of activity with the council, and may not miss more than three meetings in a row unless a reasonable explanation is given.

Failure to abide by any of the above can result in early dismissal from the council.
